Investing a lot time on the computer, might be the cause for many children developing computer vision syndrome because of prolonged use.

A lot of time in front of the computer screen can result in eye discomfort, fatigue, blurred vision and head aches,. However, some unique facets of how children use computer systems could also make them much more susceptible to problems.

Based on the association, parents must be aware that the computer workstation and how it is setup for grown ups might not be appropriate for a kid. For example, you might have to boost or lower the computer depending on how you have set it up. This is so the child can see it easier. Parents also may need to buy a chair that can be adjusted to the height of the child. The suggested distance between your monitor your children's eyes is between 18 and 28 inches (71 centimeters and 46).

Solid State DriveContributed by: Denver Computer Services

Among the big items within the world of computers from the 2007 CES show in Las Vegas was the SSD or Solid State Drive. This technology has actually been around for many years, but only now is it actually set to become something that the consumer may really get to use inside the next year. This article takes a take a look at exactly what is a solid state drive and how it may benefit computer users, particularly with their portable computing.

What's a Solid State Drive?

Solid state is an electrical term that refers to electronic circuitry that is built entirely out of semiconductors. The term was originally utilized to define those electronics like a transistor radio that used semiconductors rather than vacuum tubes in its construction. Most all electronics that we have these days are built around semiconductors and chips. In terms of a SSD, it refers to the fact that the main storage medium is through semiconductors instead of a magnetic media like a hard drive.

My Computer Is So Slow.... What Can I do?

Denver Computer RepairEverybody that has a PC can remember how it “used” to run back when it was new. Then slowly but surely over time, it seems to get progressively slower, and slower, and then a lot of times it'll actually start crashing by freezing up, or going to a blue screen (sometimes referred to the blue screen of death), or it crashes to the point where it either won’t even power up or you get a black screen with system errors and can't even log into Windows. Of course at this point in time panic starts to set in and you are left wondering whether or not you're going to lose all of your important files and pictures. Needless to say there is not a ghost image backup to recover from one external hard drive that you have backed up to.
