What's a Solid State Drive?
Solid state is an electrical term that refers to electronic circuitry that is built entirely out of semiconductors. The term was originally utilized to define those electronics like a transistor radio that used semiconductors rather than vacuum tubes in its construction. Most all electronics that we have these days are built around semiconductors and chips. In terms of a SSD, it refers to the fact that the main storage medium is through semiconductors instead of a magnetic media like a hard drive.Get Rid of Online Advertising

My Computer Is So Slow.... What Can I do?
Everybody that has a PC can remember how it “used” to run back when it was new. Then slowly but surely over time, it seems to get progressively slower, and slower, and then a lot of times it'll actually start crashing by freezing up, or going to a blue screen (sometimes referred to the blue screen of death), or it crashes to the point where it either won’t even power up or you get a black screen with system errors and can't even log into Windows. Of course at this point in time panic starts to set in and you are left wondering whether or not you're going to lose all of your important files and pictures. Needless to say there is not a ghost image backup to recover from one external hard drive that you have backed up to.
